Namanga River Hotel And Restaurant
Welcome to Namanga River Hotel And Restaurant
If you're seeking a serene escape that beautifully blends nature with comfort, the Namanga River Hotel And Restaurant in Athi River, Kenya, stands out as an excellent choice. With a commendable rating of 4, this hotel presents an inviting atmosphere for both leisure and business travelers alike.
Located along Namanga Road, visitors find themselves surrounded by lush greenery, making it ideal for those who appreciate tranquil settings. As one guest, Dj Rick 'N', remarked, it offers "nature vibes, cool silence, and a refreshing environment." This peaceful ambiance allows for a rejuvenating experience away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Rooms at the hotel, while not luxurious, provide a decent and clean stay, comparable to the standards of a Motel 6 or Day's Inn in the United States. Ralph Williams captures this sentiment well, highlighting the rooms' comfort, especially for those who can forgo air conditioning. The pleasant weather in Kenya adds to the enjoyable experience, as noted by AiShah, who appreciated the well-maintained environment.
However, feedback on food service indicates mixed reviews. Justin Lui appreciated the Spanish omelette and chipati but noted that the coffee fell short due to its instant quality. Guests should keep in mind that the service can be a bit slow, reflecting the relaxed Kenyan culture. While improvements in the dining experience could elevate the stay, the taste of the local cuisine remains a highlight for many.
Aside from its comfortable accommodations, Namanga River Hotel also offers excellent opportunities for visitors to engage in sightseeing and recreation. The scenic surroundings make it suitable for business travelers seeking a unique meeting environment amidst nature's charm.
In conclusion, the Namanga River Hotel And Restaurant is a delightful spot that promises a good getaway complemented by greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. With comfortable lodging and a bit of room for improvement in dining service, it certainly is worth considering for anyone visiting Athi River.

We stayed 1 night. Nice Place, Greenery. Including breakfast. Room is ok. But No fan or AC, it's ok coz the weather in Kenya is cool.
This review is based on FOOD. The Spanish omelette and sausage is 3 star. Enjoyable but nothing special. The chipati? 3.5 star so again, reasonable. The coffee? It’s instant coffee and for this beautiful place, 2.5 star out of 5. Service? 2.5 star. Nice server but he was slow and food took 20 minutes. When we asked for more hot water, it took 10 minutes. However, this is the culture of Kenya so it’s neutral. Overall, it’s well shaded and very comfortable in October so 4 star bc of the ENVIRONMENT.
It's a great place ,with nature vibes, cool silence and a refreshing environment
Very nice quiet resort. The rooms are decent (by American standards, about like a very clean Motel 6 or Day's Inn). Not luxurious, but comfortable as long as you don't need air conditioning. The grounds are very pretty and generally quiet, and often you see a troupe of Vervet monkeys making their way through the yard.
